The land down under has a relaxed life-style that revolves around the outdoors. Welcomed to the world’s largest island and smallest continent with a hearty "G’Day," PAX Summer Adventurers enjoy a three week homestay in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, followed by an 8 day excursion to Far North Queensland, site of some of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders.

Homestay in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
Australia’s three beautiful capital cities burst with vitality. Share everyday life with your host family members and make lifelong friends. You’ll also join other Adventurers for excursions to points of interest in the area of your "hometown." A harbor boat ride, mountain hike or aquarium visit, shopping arcade or opera hall, any of these and more will be part of your escorted excursions.

Adventure in Far North Queensland
Your group then travels north by air to Far North Queensland for the outdoor adventure portion of the trip. Spend a day snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef , visit the Daintree River and rain forest, stay in a Cairns resort hotel, ride a steam train to Kuranda, see crocodiles and aboriginal theatre, take nature walks with rangers. Experience the wilderness and beauty of this famous region.
